Lana Poe - Owner/Artist

My name is Lana Poe, and I have been a cake artist and decorator for over 20 years. Self taught, I’ve learned the art from watching my mother who has been in the industry for nearly 40 years. I originally started doing cakes for competition, and after now completing various technique and food certifications, I have been able to turn my hobby into a career. Even after winning many awards and recognitions including winner of the 2015 Best of Show at the Ohio State Fair, 2012 Columbus Home & Garden Show Live Challenge, 2011 Best of Division at the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show,

2007 Best of Show at the Ohio State Fair, and 2006 Best of Division at the Cincinnati Flower Show, etc., I never cease to challenge myself and/or my abilities.

Using a variety of edible media options including buttercream, fondant, gumpaste, chocolate, gelatin, sugar, etc., I can create couture pastry designs for any occasion. Custom artistry with cakes, cupcakes, cookies and candies are my specialty. Whether they incorporate my

own ideas or yours, the options are limitless. I have also shared this creative art through private lessons as well.

Vegan and Allergen-Free cakes are another specialty I offer, and everyone can enjoy the taste as well as they look!
